McDonald's to boost spending, open 1,325 new stores in 2012

McDonald's plans to continue its makeovers of current locations and also has its eyes on 1,325 new locations, the majority in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The company expects 3% to 5% annual sales growth as commodity costs continue to rise, and McDonald's sponsorship of the Olympics, its annual convention and tech improvements will cost millions of dollars in 2012.
