TSA aims to expand program that screens frequent fliers

The Transportation Security Administration intends to expand "as broadly as possible" a program that allows frequent fliers to move quickly through airport security, TSA Administrator John Pistole told lawmakers this week. The program is in place at four airports, and 45,000 travelers have participated so far. Other new TSA procedures include focusing on travelers' behavior and an experimental program that allows pilots to avoid security lines.
