UPS Store plans to waive franchise fees for a few qualified veterans

The UPS Store is willing to waive franchise fees for as many as 10 military veterans who are first-time franchisees. IFA's Operation Enduring Opportunity initiative will help "veterans and their family members find new career paths in franchising, provide them with great jobs and help boost our nation's economy," said Tim Davis of the UPS Store franchise network. Aaron's and Arby's also have pledged to hire veterans as part of the initiative.
