"Day in College" event draws prospective engineering students

The College of Technology at Purdue University in New Albany, Ind., recently hosted dozens of high-school students and their families for a "Day in College." Participants learned about degree programs during sessions that also included hands-on activities. "It's a great way for high school students, who are focused on their futures, to better understand how their next step is more attainable than they may believe," said Andrew Takami, director of the New Albany campus.
