EU to lift liquids ban in January, U.S. keeps ban

The European Union will begin allowing passengers to carry liquids in their carry-on luggage in January, but the U.S. has not followed the EU's move. "Liquid explosives are a serious threat, and we aren't ready to move away from the ban on liquids," the TSA said in a statement.
