Microsoft candidate reportedly has strategy moves in mind

One candidate to replace Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer reportedly has several strategies in mind, most of which come from his days running Nokia, which Microsoft has acquired, as well as his time as a Microsoft executive. Sources say Stephen Elop would allow Office software to be available beyond Windows PCs and devices and would integrate it into Apple and Google devices. He also would make cuts to the Microsoft workforce and streamline business units, according to reports.
