Microsoft chief candidate has big strategy moves in mind

One chief candidate to replace Microsoft's retiring CEO, Steve Ballmer, has more than a few strategies in mind, most of which come from his days running Nokia, which Microsoft has acquired, as well as his time as a Microsoft executive. According to unnamed sources, Stephen Elop would allow Office software to be available beyond Windows PCs and devices and would integrate it into Apple and Google devices. He also would make cuts to the Microsoft workforce and streamline business units, according to reports.
