GAO report: Drug imports increasing

A Government Accountability Office report says importation of illegal prescription drugs from other countries continues to be a substantial and growing practice and blamed the trend on a lack of reliable data concerning shipments. A federal task force formed last year to deal with the problem may be "a step in the right direction," the report said, but it suggested the government set clearer priorities and benchmarks.
