Ban or protect clones, U.N. researchers say

As technology takes scientists closer to cloning a human being, governments will have to make a choice between protecting the rights of human clones or completely banning reproductive cloning, according to U.N. scientists. Almost all countries oppose human cloning, but governments against banning the procedure should begin working on laws to protect clones from "potential abuse, prejudice and discrimination," the experts stated.
