Makeover in store for Green Building Council's LEED system

The U.S. Green Building Council is planning to make significant changes to its LEED certification system to make the system more "adaptive and flexible," officials said. Among the goals are to create one LEED system, as opposed to the current arrangement of separate residential and commercial systems, and to have the system address life-cycle analysis.
