Social network Facebook is trying to make itself more attractive to advertisers with new "engagement ads" -- ads that appear to users at login. The interactive ads ask users for comment, or to set a reminder to attend an event or watch a TV show. Facebook is expected to pull in between $300 million and $350 million in revenue for 2008. Meanwhile, News Corp.'s Fox Interactive Media, which includes Facebook rival MySpace.com, leads in ad spending, commanding 15.9% of display-ad dollars, per comScore.
