Four-day weeks gain traction in Arizona schools

While many rural Arizona districts have already adopted four-day schedules, more districts are now considering similar measures. Scottsdale, Ariz., school officials estimate such a change could save 15% to 18%, although some educators and parents fear longer days could have a harmful effect on students.
