H.I.V. scare sparks caution, rumors among St. Louis students

Students at Normandy High School in St. Louis, Mo., are looking at their classmates in a new light after an H.I.V. scare that some fear has destroyed the reputation of an already struggling school. About 97% of students took advantage of free H.I.V. tests after officials notified parents that up to 50 students may have been infected.
