San Diego commercial landscaping conserves water

The San Diego County Water Authority encourages residential and commercial customers to conserve water by offering cash rebates on water-saving technologies. Commercial landscapers in San Diego have built several LEED-certified projects in the area to conserve water. For example, the Kilroy Realty office campus features a groundwater discharge system that reclaims 1 million gallons a year.
