TIA says election results could help boost travel

Roger Dow, president of the Travel Industry Association, say that as the Obama administration and the new Congress join forces to address the economic issues plaguing the nation, the travel industry will likely benefit. Throughout the campaign, Dow said, Obama focused on the need to repair the economy, create new jobs and boost the damaged image of America around the globe. Travel and tourism fit in nicely with those goals, Dow said.
