Ky. school is urged to identify minority students for gifted program

Two outside experts are recommending that a Kentucky middle school look at the way it identifies students as gifted to ensure that minority and low-income students are included. The consultants also suggested the school provide additional gifted-education teachers and professional development, improve communication within the program and that a comprehensive K-12 program be developed in the district.
