Small business profits from SBA loan changes

Loan-policy changes at the Small Business Administration have had an impact on businesses, an SBA official said. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act allowed the SBA to raise its loan guarantee to 90% and waive fees. Because of that, the SBA has approved nearly 1,000 loans in Oklahoma, totaling more than $110 million, said Darla Booker, spokeswoman for the SBA Oklahoma district.
