Vodafone's Colao sees no need to rush to LTE

Vodafone will take a relatively laid-back approach to deploying next-generation LTE technology. CEO Vittorio Colao said Tuesday that 3G-based HSPA+ network would meet the carrier's needs for the next two to three years. "I don't see [LTE] as a huge revolution if you have a very good HSPA network ... but [not before] back end of 2011, possibly 2012," he said.
