Facebook breaks ground on $450M data center in North Carolina

Facebook, the company behind the social networking site of the same name, plans to build a $450 million data center in North Carolina. The construction will create about 250 jobs, and the finished data center will employ between 35 and 45 full-time employees. Recently, North Carolina has been luring such data centers, where massive servers manage digital traffic.
