Iowa's governor-elect is unsure about high-speed rail:

The governor-elect of Iowa says he remains undecided on his stance on previously approved federal funds for high-speed rail. Terry Branstad says he isn't sure whether the system will be cost-effective. Iowa and Illinois were jointly awarded $230 million to get the high-speed project running.
