Study looks at food choices of overweight children

A study in Norway found that overweight children were less physically active than their normal-weight peers but more likely to eat healthful foods including fish, brown bread and produce. "It is positive that parents and children emphasize healthy food choices," a researcher said. "However, it is important to note that the amount of healthy foods must be adapted to a child's activity level to limit further weight gain."
