Wildlife expert cautions against contact with raccoons

Owners are advised to keep their pets and children from contact with raccoons, which could carry distemper, rabies and other diseases, a Montana wildlife expert says. "Remember that they're wild animals. ... They may look cute and cuddly, but hanging around your house is not a good place to have them," he said.
