Exec: Think social layer, not social network, for Google+

Google+ "is not a social network," says Nikesh Arora, the company's chief business officer. The platform is intended to add a social layer to Google's other products, such as search, applications and YouTube, rather than to function as a standalone service, Arora says. "It's not just about getting people together on one site and calling it a social network," he says.
