Most B2B companies aren't heavy social media users

Fewer than 10% of business-to-business companies make "extensive" use of social media, according to an Accenture survey, while more than a quarter say their social media use is negligible or nonexistent. Still, almost two-thirds of those polled said they believe social media is important to their business, an outcome Jeffrey Cohen attributes to "a lack of resources and confidence," based on the survey results.
