N.D. House rejects health insurance exchange bill

The North Dakota House voted down a bill that would authorize state officials to run a health insurance exchange. Republican lawmakers said passing the measure would have been indicated support for the federal health care law. Supporters of the bill said the state has lost its chance to administer its own health insurance exchange, which might now be controlled by the federal government.
