Some airlines offer a coat-check service so fliers don't clog up overhead bins with their outerwear. Frankfurt Airport offers the service and is bringing it back this year, as is Korean Air at Incheon International Airport in South Korea. "Yes, it's a tiny amenity, but to me it helps underscore how airports have evolved in recent decades from basically giant, glorified bus stations to places where customer service and marketing innovation often shine," writes Joe Sharkey.
