Bennett ties NAEP success in Ind. to his reforms

Following the release of National Assessment for Education Progress test scores that showed improvement in achievement among Indiana's students, former state Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Bennett has linked the success on the Nation's Report Card to reforms that took place under his administration. Voters ousted Bennett in favor or current Superintendent Glenda Ritz, who tied the improvements to the "hard work and dedication" of students, educators and parents.
