Distance learning gives Neb. students the chance to learn Chinese

Students at Beatrice High School in Nebraska had access only to Spanish language classes until the district adopted a distance learning program. The program has helped bring daily Chinese lessons to students taught by a native Chinese speaker. School administrators say distance learning opens opportunities for students to explore a subject they would not have encountered otherwise.
