Horizon Media adds a unit focused on wellness

Horizon Media today will formally announce the launch of its Scout Wellness unit, which will be focused on health and wellness marketing, from insurance through home and herbal remedies. Rich Abend, former vice president for integrated sales at Active Network, will head the division. The agency will focus on both the "top of the pyramid, people who are already healthy and active ... [and] all those folks trying to connect, to get started," said Abend.
