Japan's Abenomics encounters obstacles

Analysts say it's too early to judge the long-term success or failure of Japan's Abenomics, although the indications to date are that Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's program of weakening the yen and stamping out deflation has yet to generate the kind of growth that was hoped. Meanwhile, the plan is running into global headwinds as other central banks continue to tamp down their currencies.
