Juice companies target high-end, health-conscious buyers

The craze over vegetable, fruit and superfood juice has resulted in a growing market for such high-priced, cold-pressed drinks, which retail for as much as $10. Whole Foods Market has caught on to the fad by partnering with and stocking products from companies such as BluePrint, Suja Juice and Evolution Fresh. "Americans are drinking less juice, so what manufacturers are going for is attracting the health-conscious consumer who will pay higher costs for smaller volumes," said Jonas Feliciano, a beverage analyst at Euromonitor International.
