Mobile's holiday role grows beyond early, late shoppers

The role of mobile in holiday shopping is expanding beyond Black Friday and last-minute buyers, with devices employed throughout the interim period, analysts say. The standard mobile shopper now is "more of a, if I find it great, if not I’ll look for something else. So inventory availability, price checking, ratings and reviews on mobile -- these all seem like the kind of use cases that would help out that kind of shopper," said Nikki Baird, managing partner at RSR Research.
