N.M. school serving Native American students eyes IB

A school in New Mexico is awaiting word on whether it will be able to offer the International Baccalaureate program. If approved, it would be the eighth school in the state with an IB program, but it is believed to be the only one nationwide serving primarily students who are Native American. The program is being touted as beneficial for students' achievement and offering a head start on college.
