Project-based learning gets a boost from technology

Schools nationwide are using education technology to integrate project-based learning into classroom lessons. Examples in this article include a project in which a group of Philadelphia high-school students worked with an astronomer and planetarium director to locate and photograph anomalies on the surface of the sun. The nonprofit New Tech Network works with about 130 schools to promote project-based learning.
