Students blend engineering, fashion during girls-only event

At the Wyoming STARBASE Academy, girls from around the state recently learned how to create clothes that light up by incorporating circuitry and special thread in sewing. "The whole thing is to get girls who are interested in that kind of technology to network," Director Barb Marquer said, adding that "[t]hey'll benefit from the collaboration."
