Tips to help school leaders show appreciation

School leaders could develop a more positive school culture and retain more top teachers by showing their appreciation, writes transformational leadership coach Elena Aguilar. In this blog post, she suggests, among other things, that administrators close meetings with sentiments of gratitude or post an "Appreciation Tree" in the teachers' lounge. "Expressing gratitude can allow us to engage in teaching and learning in a more positive, open way," she writes.
