Turkey is home to new scorpion species

Researchers have uncovered a new species of wood scorpion in Turkey. Euscorpius lycius, whose sting is about as dangerous to humans as a mosquito bite, is just a few centimeters long and likes to live in shady, humid places like underneath rocks and moss-covered garden walls, according to a report in the journal ZooKeys.
