Women with diabetes have greater chance of kidney disease

A study of 1,468 diabetes patients presented at the American Society of Nephrology's Kidney Week 2013 meeting found female diabetes patients were 33% more likely than their male counterparts to develop chronic kidney disease at 10 years regardless of race, age and education.
