Job growth expected, especially in construction

An economic consulting firm predicts companies will add 2.7 million jobs in the next year, many in construction, transportation and health care, possibly making up for job losses in the past two years. Still, the study says the manufacturing industry will probably not add jobs until 2005, and about one-fifth of the 2.7 million jobs will be temporary workers.
