Denver contractors prepare to reap FasTracks benefits

The $4.7 billion FasTracks transportation construction program approved by Colorado voters is a boon to local contractors. Parts of the project may be undertaken with design-build contracts. Many Denver-area contractors are already forming teams in anticipation of bidding on the lucrative pieces of the massive project, which will build 119 miles of rail in the city.
