Nokia, Sony Ericsson go after India's mobile-music crowd

Nokia and Sony Ericsson are making aggressive moves into the mobile-music-download business in India while LG, Motorola and Samsung are proceeding more deliberately to reach the country's 31 million people that use their handsets to access the Internet. Nokia is banking on its latest "N-Series" launches to broaden its Ovi Internet service, while Sony Ericsson intends to further develop its PlayNow service, and its content-sharing platform, for a spring 2008 launch.
