Study: Binge drinking in women may cause bladder rupture

Women who binge drink were found to have a higher risk of bladder rupture with lower abdominal pain, a rare condition which had been previously found only in men after excessive intake of alcohol, a report said. The increased level of urine in the bladder caused by alcohol and dulled senses contribute to the reduced urge to void the bladder of urine, the study added.
