ACLU questions Alabama school over single-sex classes

An Alabama middle school allegedly segregated classes by gender without a coeducational option and without notifying parents, according to an American Civil Liberties Union letter to school officials. A Mobile County schools spokeswoman declined to comment other than to say the system's lawyers will review the ACLU's letter.
