Expedia expands with deals in Europe, Middle East, Africa

Expedia is expanding its reach with marketing and distribution deals involving hotels and tour operators around Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The company said it has expanded its base of hotels in Eastern Europe by 44%, in Italy by 40%, and in Spain and Portugal by 36%. The new deals are with companies including Carlson Hotels Worldwide and Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts.
