Group predicts travel-industry growth to cool

The National Business Travel Association's 2009 Business Travel Overview & Cost Forecast predicts that the travel industry will grow at a pace slower than normal and that business travel expenses will rise. "The expansion of the trend is the result of measures travel managers are implementing to contain travel costs during an economic downturn," said Kevin Maguire, president and chief executive of the NBTA.
