Sun Pharma sued over patent of Orion's Comtan

Orion Corp., a Finnish drugmaker, sued Sun Pharma Global for patent infringement after the Indian company applied for U.S. regulatory approval to market a copy of Comtan. Orion said the lawsuit entitles the firm to an automatic stay barring the FDA from clearing Sun Pharma's version of the drug for Parkinson's disease for 30 months, unless an earlier decision rules against Orion.
