UN peacekeepers work to stop looting by Congo army

Army troops battling rebel forces have been looting villages in the Kanyabayonga area of eastern Congo, trapping some UN aid officials in the violence. The looting may have been caused by rumors of a rebel strike, said a UN spokesman, who added that UN peacekeepers and the army are getting the situation under control.
