Community garden will highlight sustainable landscaping

A new community garden on the campus of the Oregon Institute of Technology will incorporate native plants and drought-resistant landscaping. The goal of the project, which will receive funding from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, is to teach the value of native plants and sustainable landscaping. The teaching garden will eventually cover 2.5 acres.
