Dodd must convince "centrist" senators on reform bill

Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., must persuade "centrist" Republicans and Democrats to vote for his financial-reform bill. Some of these senators said they will try to amend, not oppose, the bill. "This is not like health care, and it's not like climate change," said Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn. "We all want to see a really good bill pass." Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., said he only wants to see changes in the proposal to create the Consumer Financial Protection Agency.
