Institute for Justice sues Dallas over sign code

The Institute for Justice, a Washington-based public interest law firm, is suing the city of Dallas under claims that the city's sign code is a violation of free speech rights. The current code limits the coverage area and placement of sign displays in storefront windows. The small five businesses, on whose behalf the suit was filed, say the limitations are directly affecting sales.
